Best Feature Of Nokia Lumia 928
Nokia is going to add a new device to its series of smartphones which it call Lumia and this time it is going to be Nokia Lumia 928. The phone is expected to be similar to its ancestor i.e. Nokia Lumia 920. After the success of Lumia 920, a lot of people are waiting for the release of this phone. It is basically a windows phone that runs on latest Microsoft Windows 8. Although there is no news regarding the price or features of the phone, but there have been some rumors about the design of the phone and its release date. The company will be adding some new and significant features in order for this phone to compete in the smartphone market.
Leaks for the upcoming Lumia 928 continue to surface, as new information points to significant changes over the Lumia 920 and an April launch on Verizon Wireless.
The Verge reports that Nokia will move away from plastic with the Lumia 928, to opt for aluminum. The aluminium choice is said to reduce the weight and thickness over the Lumia 920, which in our review we noted as a big problem for Nokia's flagship. HTC notably made a similar jump with its HTC One, ditching a traditional plastic design for a sleeker aluminium build.
The Lumia 928 is said to feature a xenon and LED flash combination for the 8-megapixel PureView camera. Other specs are said to be similar to the Lumia 920, including a 720p 4.5-inch display, 1GB of RAM, LTE capability, 32GB of storage, and big 2000mAh.
The handset's launch could be a big deal for Microsoft's attack in the US. Verizon currently offers only the powerful Windows Phone 8X by HTC, Samsung ATIV Odyssey, and Nokia Lumia 822.
Microsoft is reportedly set to be providing big market dollars for the device, giving Windows Phone 8 a bigger presence stateside. According to the latest report, the Lumia 928 will launch in April. Last month, an internal product listing at Verizon hinted the launch even further, making us think this is a sure thing for Verizon's spring line-up.
Nokia Lumia the Best verizon smartphone 2013 leaks more camera sample
I think it is pretty clear now that Nokia is leaking sample pictures taken by the Nokia Lumia 928. The pictures of the family above is just too marketing perfect for anything else.
In any case, the pictures also give a pretty good idea of the performance of the front facing camera in the picture on the top left, and with its reflection in the mirror also gives us the first look at the back of the elusive Nokia Lumia 928, with its flash or camera placement clearly in a very different location from thee Nokia Lumia 928.
The front of the device can also be spotted in a reflection of the woman’s sun glasses, probably telling us more about how good the front facing camera is than anything about the styling of the device, which is obviously dominated by the screen.
The pictures were spotted by Androsym identified by their EXIF data, though they did not reveal where.
We have also spotted the handset in or logs, interestingly with both a Verizon and Mexican IP address. I suspect it will not be too long before we see the device hit the market.
Nokia Lumia 928 leaks, thinner than the 920
A new Nokia is on the cards, and this one promises to strip the Lumia 920 of its flagship status. Called the Lumia 928, it's leaked via the @evleaks Twitter account, and it's a slightly tweaked version of the 920.The 928 is heading for US network Verizon, so I don't know whether us Brits will ever see it on these shores. Still, we can hope…
So what's changed from the Lumia 920? The two look very similar, but the 928 has a longer flash on the back. It'll also be slightly thinner, measuring 10.2mm at its thinnest point and 11.2mm at its thickest, with a slightly curved back, according to The Verge. Instead of an LCD screen, the 928 will sport a 4.5-inch OLED jobby. Other than that, the specs are near identical, with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 32GB of storage, and 1GB of RAM. Good stuff.
The Lumia 928 will eschew an aluminium frame in favour of a thinner polycarbonate one. It'll also reportedly have a new xenon flash as well as the same LED one as found on the 920. Lighting your snaps shouldn't be an issue, then. It's expected to go on sale in the US later this month, but as I say, there's no word on whether it'll find its way across the pond.
The Lumia 920 earned itself a highly commendable four out of five stars in our review. But that's not as good as the wallet-friendly Lumia 620, which scored four and a half. Proof you don't need to spend big to get a decent smart phone.
Nokia Lumia 928 spied for Verizon Wireless
How does a US carrier get around AT&T's exclusivity of the Lumia 920? Why, it releases an exclusive of its own, of course. News of the Lumia 928 is probably familiar to many of you, which has been rumored (and spotted in inventory systems) as an upscale Windows Phone for Verizon. Now, things just got real, as @evleaks has just released the first glimpse of the Lumia 928, and adorned in black, we're quite sure that Batman would approve. Naturally, Big Red's branding adorns both the front and back of the device, but at least there's a modicum of restraint. This being Nokia's second Windows Phone outing on Verizon, we're crossing our fingers that the phone was spared a beating with the ugly stick. We'll reserve judgment until we can get our grubby mitts on one.
Nokia Lumia 928 Breath Taking Render Pictures
I’m in love all over again! At first I wasn’t a fan of the Lumia 928′s design; but the render above has stolen my heart! Sure it might not follow the curved fabula design of the 928 and all its predecessors but it might just be something even better. The phone reminds me of the 810 more than anything, with its strong corners and flat screens, and although it might not be all curvy and sleek; the design looks to be the perfect match for the Windows Phone Metro interface.
And in case you get the feeling you’ve seen this before, it does bear a striking resemblance to the rendered concepts for a Microsoft surface phone, don’t you think?
Nokia Lumia 928 Release Date
The phone is expected to be launched in the month of April on the Verizon network. Earlier there were rumors of the device to be launched along with Samsung Galaxy S4, but now it is expected to be out in market in first week of April in US, UK and some other countries.
